Job Summary

The Nurse in our Early Learning Center provides hands‑on medical care and a holistic and inclusive approach to each child's health and wellbeing. As the primary caregiver of children with complex medical needs, the Nurse works collaboratively with staff and parents/guardians to advocate for each child’s needs and help them reach their full potential. Hope's Home nurses also play a significant role in developing all children's knowledge and experience with diversity and inclusivity through engaging conversations and experiences. The Nurse reports to the Manager of the Early Learning Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice per valid license and SALPN/SRNA competencies, aligned with Hope's Homes goals and values.
• Participate in management training and share ideas to improve nursing practice.
• Serve as an educator, creating fun and engaging activities that act as educational tools.
