Job Summary:
To coordinate the clinical and administrative operations of the WHCNP/CNM Service within the OBGyn Department, ensuring high quality health care to Kaiser Permanente members in a cost-effective manner in accordance with accepted professional practice standards.
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Clinical Activities: Maintains clinical skills through the provision of direct patient care. The amount of direct patient care provided by the Regional Lead will be in conjunction with the needs of the service. In general, the Regional Lead will schedule 20 hours per week administrative time with the remaining 12-20 hours per weeks performing clinical duties.
+ Human Resources Activates: Hiring: Participates in the hiring of new AC staff, consistent with the principles of the Labor/Management Partnership. Orientation: Coordinates the orientation of new AC staff and facilitates the credentialing process for CNMs. Evaluation: Provides inpu...
