Job Title: Nurse Manager I – Women’s HealthJob Description
The Nurse Manager I provides culturally competent, patient-centered nursing leadership for a women’s health clinic serving low-income adults in Los Angeles County, with a strong focus on underserved communities. Working under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer/Deputy Nursing Officer and in collaboration with the Site Medical Director, this role leads RNs, LVNs, medical assistants, HIV/STD counselors, phlebotomists, and other clinical support staff to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care. The Nurse Manager I oversees patients’ courses of treatment, coordinates care across the team, and partners with leadership to design, implement, and monitor clinic workflows, including the implementation of Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) principles.
