Job Overview

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results‑driven professional to join our team in the role of Armed Nuclear Security Officer.

Reporting to the Security First Line Manager, the position is responsible for implementing duties of a Nuclear Security Officer (NSO) or a tactically trained Nuclear Security Officer at a Nuclear Generating Station (ANSO), including access controls, patrols, searches, incident investigations, monitoring, lock and key control activities, and related tasks.

Key Accountabilities

• Carry out duties as a Nuclear Security Officer, including patrols, access control, and enforcement of security regulations and procedures.
• Monitor, control, and document entry/exit of personnel and vehicles; conduct searches for weapons, contraband, and nuclear material.
