Job Overview

WELL Health Diagnostic Centres is looking for a skilled and certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist who will be responsible for performing Nuclear Medicine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient identification, safety and preparation procedures are correct before starting nuclear medicine examinations.
• Ensure relevant patient history is documented.
• Inform supervisor, or designated person, of unusual or abnormal cases.
• Set up and adjust nuclear medicine equipment, maintaining established protocol.
• Monitor supplies and notify supervisor of shortages.
• Perform radio pharmaceutical preparation and quality management.
• Perform bone, brain, thyroid, liver, spleen, hepatobiliary, renal, and lung scans.
• Perform I131 thyroid treatments, bone densitometry scans, venograms, dacrocystograms, testicular scans, and rest and stress MUGAs.
