Summary You will serve as a Nuclear Mechanical Systems Inspector (SHIPS) in the Quality Assurance Department, Nuclear Inspection Division (Code 139), of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will ensure the cleanliness of reactor-grade and shipboard systems by performing occasional surveillance and final inspections before system closure. You will conduct mechanical, piping, and structural inspections, as well as pre-arrival and material condition assessments. You will maintain records of inspections performed, their results, and corrective actions taken according to local directives. You will prepare a Nuclear Deficiency Report to reject components, materials, workmanship, or procedures that do not meet specifications.
