NOC 85102 - Aquaculture and marine harvest labourers

Job Summary Perform hands-on work in aquaculture facilities and marine harvest operations to support production and harvesting activities. Maintain equipment, handle stock, and follow safety and environmental procedures to ensure product quality. Number of Positions 2 Main Duties Feed, monitor and inspect fish or shellfish for health, growth, and signs of disease or mortality. Operate, clean and maintain nets, pens, cages, tanks and associated aquaculture equipment; perform routine repairs as needed. Assist with harvesting, sorting, grading, packing and loading of aquaculture products for transport. Deploy, retrieve and inspect gear from boats or shore, and perform basic underwater or deck tasks as required. Record production data, stock counts and observations accurately and report issues to supervisors.
