Job Summary Install, maintain and repair oil and solid fuel heating systems in residential and light commercial settings. Diagnose system faults, perform preventive maintenance and ensure safe, efficient operation in accordance with applicable codes. Number of Positions 1 Main Duties Install oil and solid fuel boilers, furnaces, stoves and associated components according to specifications and manufacturer instructions. Inspect, clean, adjust and repair burners, combustion chambers, flues and chimneys to maintain safe operation and reduce emissions. Diagnose mechanical and combustion problems using testing instruments, and carry out necessary repairs or component replacements. Perform routine preventive maintenance, efficiency tuning and fuel system checks to optimize system performance.
