Job Summary Perform installation, fabrication and repair of structural metal components on construction projects. Work safely at heights and collaborate with crews to meet project specifications and schedules. Number of Positions 5 Main Duties Assemble, position and install structural steel components such as beams, columns and trusses using cranes and rigging equipment. Align, secure and fasten components by bolting, riveting or welding according to drawings and specifications. Read and interpret structural drawings, layout plans and measurement instructions to determine installation sequence. Operate hand and power tools to cut, shape and fit metal components and perform finishing work as required. Inspect completed assemblies for alignment and structural integrity and perform on-site adjustments or repairs.
