NOC 14404 - Dispatchers

Job Summary Coordinate and prioritize vehicle and personnel movements to meet service and delivery requirements. Monitor fleet status and communicate updates to drivers, customers, and supervisors. Number of Positions 8 Main Duties Receive and process service requests, orders and dispatch instructions via phone, radio and computer systems. Assign drivers and vehicles based on availability, route efficiency and service priorities. Monitor vehicle locations and status using GPS, telematics and communication tools; update schedules as needed. Communicate with drivers, customers and internal teams to provide ETAs, route changes and incident updates. Maintain accurate logs, records and reports of dispatch activities, vehicle movements and service outcomes.
