NHS UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL – NHS FIXED TERM LOCUM CONSULTANT OBSTETRICIAN VACANCY – MIDLANDS
We are now recruiting an NHS Fixed Term Locum Consultant for one of the largest University Teaching Hospitals in the NHS.
It includes both routine and emergency obstetrics and on call for obstetrics (non-resident on-call 1 in 8). The key clinical requirement of the post are to provide consultant labour suite cover, elective caesarean lists, ward rounds, assessment unit cover and antenatal clinics.
44 Consultants contribute to our clients obstetrics and gynaecology service, of which 18 are obstetric consultants, 18 gynaecologists and 8 combined obstetrician and gynaecologists.
Our clients labour suite is associated with a level 3 Neonatal Unit, dedicated obstetric anaesthetic service, and inpatient and outpatient obstetric services. There is a 3 tier junior doctor 24 hour presence. Fetal medicine centre accepts regional referrals. There is a dedicated ...
