Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (HCP) certificate required (within the last twelve months)
• Certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - an asset
• Minimum (2-3 years) recent NICU clinical experience (Modified Level III)
• Current certifications in:
  • Care and management with ventilators
  • IV initiation and management (neonatal)
  • Breastfeeding Certification Level 1
  • Cardiac Monitoring
  • Care and Management with Central Lines
  • Total Parental Nutrition
• Completion of Perinatal Nursing course - NICU Focus - an asset
