Department: Allied Rehab Services

The successful applicant will be assigned to a primary area but expected to assist in other clinical areas as required. Rotations occur on a regular basis to enhance and maintain skill levels. Within the organization, the physiotherapist’s main role is to provide assessment, treatment, education and onward referral to patients and their caregivers to achieve patient‑centered goals.

Qualifications

Certification/Experience/Knowledge

• Registration with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario required
• Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (HCP) Certificate required (recent within the last twelve months)
• Two years of experience in an acute care setting is required
