The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will work closely with the Registered Nurse to deliver professional nursing care in the long-term care setting. Key responsibilities include liaising with the healthcare team, guiding Personal Support Workers, and ensuring that residents receive high-quality care. You'll also contribute to policy implementation and participate in shift reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement AgeCare policies in collaboration with the Registered Nurse
• Notify physicians of significant changes in resident status
• Ensure residents' care needs are met effectively
• Provide direction to Personal Support Workers
• Participate in shift reports with the healthcare team
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses
