Job Overview

The Division of Neurology at Island Health is recruiting a Neurologist for the Victoria site. The position is permanent, part‑time, with on‑call duties, and is designed to support community practice while complementing the tertiary hospital‐based clinics at Victoria General Hospital and Royal Jubilee Hospital.

Key responsibilities include establishing an independent community practice, participating in a general neurology on‑call rotation (0.5 equivalent), and collaborating with a cohesive group of subspecialist neurologists. New members receive peer support to facilitate practice setup.

Qualifications, Education and Skills

• Current license from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) – Mandatory
• Full registration with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory
• Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) – Mandatory
