Role: Network Device Patching & Configuration Engineer
Bangalore Experience: 4–8 Years
Key Responsibilities
Perform firmware/OS patching and upgrades on network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
Manage configuration updates, backups, and standardization across network infrastructure
Conduct pre/post upgrade validation to ensure network stability and minimal downtime
Perform L2 triage for network-related incidents, patch failures, and performance issues
Ensure security compliance by addressing vulnerabilities and applying recommended fixes
Maintain change records and participate in CAB approvals for network changes
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams for coordinated execution
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.)
Expertise in network OS upgrades, patching, and configuration management
