Responsibilities
Installation & Configuration Install hardware/software components and integrate with existing network systems Install/repair network cables including fiber optics Configure wireless networking equipment Install network security/firewall software Problem Resolution Diagnose and resolve network issues in collaboration with vendors Use protocol analyzers and monitoring tools Perform performance tuning and corrective action Collaboration Work with networking staff, telecom teams, vendors, contractors, and end-users Assist with integration and maintenance of network services Record Keeping Maintain documentation of network components, inventory, and maintenance Programming Support network applications (monitoring, bandwidth utilization, reporting, automation) General Duties Perform additional duties as assigned to suppo...
