About the job National Head of Road Freight
Job Purpose:
The National Head of Road Freight will oversee and lead operational excellence nationally and will be actively engaged in operational problems with a view to find workable solutions.
Job Function:
- Support Front Office and Middle office Operations with designing and standardising solutions to meet the service requirements of the Front Office.
- Optimize transport solutions as per client needs.
- Manage operational relationships with suppliers which include sourcing and negotiation to ensure:
- Establishment of focal point for suppliers.
- Effective management of contracts and limits of liabilities in conjunction with legal.
- Design solutions to guarantee complete and consistent quotations.
- Ensure standardisation of operating procedures with suppliers.
