City of Newcastle has an opportunity for an experienced Motor Vehicle Driver to operate our rear loading waste collection vehicles. 

This role is a key a front-line collections position and critical to the effective provision of the collections service to the community. Working as part of a team, this role performs collection duties utilising rear loading waste collection vehicles, including driving a rear loading waste collection heavy vehicle, moving bins, operating lifting equipment, loading bins and waste material into collection vehicles and operating compaction equipment.
