Multi Skilled Operative

Contract: Full-time permanent. Salary up to £36,425.30 per annum, plus company van & fuel card. 42.5 hours per week (8-5 Monday-Friday).

We’re looking for a versatile Multi-skilled Operative to support a busy responsive repairs contract in Margate. This dynamic, hands‑on role involves delivering high‑quality repairs and maintenance across a range of trades to ensure residents’ homes are safe, functional, and well‑cared for.

Duties

• Carry out day‑to‑day responsive repairs across social housing properties.
• Replace or repair skirting boards, architraves, and internal door frames.
• Install and adjust kitchen units, worktops, and cupboard doors.
• Repair or replace internal doors, handles, locks, and hinges.
• Identify and fix minor plumbing issues such as leaks, dripping taps, and blocked sinks.
