Role Description
We are recruiting a Motion Designer to be Optima's one-person media arm (enough taste to set the register + enough craft to ship most of it themselves):
- Take a script, a brief, or just a direction — and turn it into something worth watching. Storyboard it, design it, animate it, ship it
- Own the visual register: what Optima looks like, how it moves, what it sounds like in motion. You set it and you hold it
- Use AI generation tools (what already exists and whatever lands next month) as a real part of your production workflow, not for the sake of it
- Produce the full range: launch films, short-form social content, animated explainers, data visualisations, ad creatives. Static design when needed, ...
