Job Description
The Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) works with customers, Realtors, and bank partners to generate new loan opportunities. They help borrowers through the mortgage process by reviewing financial information, recommending loan options, explaining rates and fees, and assisting with loan approvals. The role also requires building strong relationships to create a steady pipeline of future business and having a solid understanding of mortgage products, lending regulations, and loan pricing.

Responsibilities
• Find and generate new mortgage customers through referrals, Realtors, and bank partnerships.
• Meet with borrowers and collect financial information.
• Review income, debt, credit, and tax returns to determine loan eligibility.
• Explain mortgage options and help customers choose the best loan product.
• Provide rate and payment estimates.
