Imaging Assistant

Imaging Assistant Duties: Froedtert South is dedicated to exceptional patient care. Under the general guidance of the Radiologic Technologist this position requires assisting the technical staff with direct and indirect patient care responsibilities involved in the performance of imaging studies. Assists the Technical staff by escorting patients to and from exam rooms, patient positioning, exam room setup/cleanup, and patient monitoring. Assists with obtaining patient history, verify order/special scheduling requests. Courteous and effective phone communications with provider offices/ancillary departments. Relays messages/instructions. Transports patients between imaging, nursing, and ancillary departments. Accurately documents information in the electronic health/medical record system.
