Summary:

The Monitor Technician Extern, under the supervision of a Nurse Educator or Monitor Technician, performs telemetry monitoring and other related technical and clinical activities to support the Monitor Technician Team.

Responsibilities:

Attaches electrode to patients' bodies to record electrical impulses from the heart to perform continuous ECG Monitoring.Identifies and corrects for artifacts.Records information in patient's log and maintains accurate, neat account of patient's cardiac monitoring status during episode of care.
