Model Maker 3D Printing Specialist

Job Description

The Model Maker 3D Printing Specialist plays a key role within the Product Development team. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 3D printing department, which is at the heart of prototyping, concept validation, and new product development activities.

Using files provided by the Design and Engineering teams, the incumbent is responsible for preparing, printing, post‑processing, and performing quality inspections on printed parts. The technician also contributes to the optimal performance of the equipment by carrying out preventive maintenance and assisting with technical troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with 3D printing technologies and print preparation software such as Grabcad et Preform.
• Ability to read, modify, and optimize 3D design files, particularly in SolidWorks.
