Job Summary

My client in the metal industry is seeking a Millwright whowill ensure maintenance including problem solving, ensure minimum downtime.

Qualifications

• Qualified and Trade Tested as a Millwright
• Must have at least 5 years work experience inthe steel industry
• Must be prepared to work shifts
• Weekend work is required on a rotational basis
• Sound knowledge and experience in mechanicalworks
• Knowledge of PLC control systems would be anadvantageous
• Must be prepared to work overtime scheduled orunscheduled outside of the normal hours

Duties & Responsibilities

• Checking and inspecting machinery, placingorders with buyer for parts and reporting issues to the Maintenance Manager orSection Head
• Ensuring that all equipment and machinery ismaintained and fit for purpose
