Position

Temporary part‑time Community Paramedic (CP) – approximately 3 to 6 months. Closing date 2026‑07‑29.

Role Overview

The CP works with primary health care providers, delivering patient care in home or community settings. Duties include independent clinical care, advanced assessment, treatment, and patient transport – both emergency and non‑emergency. The CP operates alone in a response‑capable vehicle and works under direct medical oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, advanced clinical care to patients in community settings.
• Perform advanced assessment, consultation, and treatment in accordance with the scope of practice.
• Safe transportation of individuals, including emergency, non‑emergency responses, and inter‑facility transfers.
• Maintain and operate ambulances and related equipment in compliance with public safety and patient needs.
