**MIG Welder**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on high-output MIG welding to fabricate steel trailer components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply. You will prepare materials, interpret blueprints, and perform precise welds on galvanized steel, carbon steel, and stainless steel while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate heavy-duty MIG welding equipment to fuse steel components for trailers quickly, accurately, and to specification.
+ Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, and fitting base metal pieces prior to welding.
+ Read and interpret engineering designs, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure trailers are built to exact specifications.
+ Use tape measures in both fractions and decimals to verify dimensions and ensure proper fit-up of components.
