Overview

MEI is an independent Pre‑K‑12 school system with approximately 1,600 students. All applicants must be dedicated to Christian education. Successful candidates are required to sign an MEI Staff Covenant indicating acceptance and agreement with MEI Schools' Christian values.

Teaching Position

Cooking Teacher, 0.35 FTE (part‑time temporary), intended start date September 2, 2026, ending June 23, 2027. This position will remain open until filled.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a BC Certified Teacher certificate of qualification from the BC Ministry of Education and Childcare, a university degree, and completion of a professional teacher education program. Placement on the MEI Teacher Salary Grid will be based on qualifications and experience.
