Responsibilities

• Set editorial priorities for breaking and daily news across all formats, in collaboration with regional editor and bureau chiefs.
• Lead and coordinate a cross‑format team to deliver fast, accurate, and impactful coverage.
• Ensure stories meet Reuters’ standards and client expectations across platforms.
• Make rapid editorial decisions under time pressure.
• Collaborate with regional and global editors to shape coverage and strategy.
• Mentor and coach staff, fostering a high‑performance and inclusive newsroom culture.
