Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineer to design, code, and commission the control systems for our marine electrical equipment. You will be responsible for integrating PLC/inverter drive logic with real-world mechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient marine operations.
Key Responsibilities- Logic Programming: Develop and maintain PLC and HMI software for marine winches, cranes, and propulsion systems.
- Drive Integration: Configure and fine-tune variable frequency drives (VFDs) and inverter systems to optimize equipment performance.
- System Testing: Conduct rigorous functional testing and simulation of control logic before shipboard installation.
- Commissioning: Provide technical support during on-site commissioning, including troubleshooting hardware-software interface issues on vessels.
