Responsibilities include the full-cycle accounting activities:
- Invoicing customers
- Categorizing transactions from bank feeds
- Coding vendor invoices
- Recording/printing checks
- Month-end close process activities:
- Clearing of suspense transactions (i.e., those expenses still waiting to be categorized)
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- P&L by customer analysis
- P&L by month
- Generating financial reports (Balance Sheet, P&L, P&L by customer, AR Aging Summary, Trend Report/General Ledger)
