MIC - Supervisor-Melt

Description:
The Melt Supervisor is the frontline leader responsible for safely managing the melting and pouring of metal to meet production schedules, alloy specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. This role oversees furnace operation, charge preparation, metal chemistry, temperature control, deoxidation or alloy additions, pouring practices, heat documentation, equipment readiness, and melt-area personnel. The melt supervisor works closely with quality, engineering, maintenance, shell, and casting operations to ensure each heat is produced consistently, defects related to melting or pouring are prevented, and all work is performed in accordance with established procedures, safety requirements, and metallurgical standards. * High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Associates degree in materials science, manufacturing, engineering or related technical field preferred
