Methods and Resources Teacher Full-Time

Be a pivotal support for special needs education as a Methods and Resources Teacher with the Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government from August 2026. Collaborate on Individualized Education Plans and enhance student outcomes in a full-time role.
This full-time position under the Methods and Resource Coordinator involves working closely with classroom teachers and the Special Education Team. You will carry out classroom observations, administer and interpret academic tests, and assist in the formulation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Your involvement will directly impact the educational experience of students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct classroom observations to support teachers
• Administer academic testing and interpret results
• Participate in Special Education referral processes
• Assist with school-wide achievement testing
• Provide direct instructional support per IEP recommendations
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Education
