**Job Title: Metal Prep Assistant**
**Job Description**
The Metal Prep Assistant supports laser cutting, machining, and press brake operations by handling raw materials, operating general metal preparation equipment, and assisting machine operators throughout the production process. This role ensures an efficient production flow by staging, moving, and organizing materials while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping in a metal fabrication environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from laser cutting machines in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Assist in unloading incoming raw material trucks and store materials in designated locations according to established procedures.
+ Operate general metal preparation machinery, including band saws, iron workers, press equipment, and plasma torches, following safety and quality guidelines.
