Metadata Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced Metadata Specialist to join a major government data transformation initiative. This role will be responsible for ensuring metadata is treated as a strategic asset, enabling trusted, discoverable, lineage-aware, and audit-ready data products across enterprise data platforms.

Opportunity: GCC-based.

• 5–8 years of experience in Metadata Management, Data Governance, Data Engineering, or Analytics Engineering
• Data Warehousing / Lakehouse Architectures
• Experience within government or large enterprise environments
• Exposure to audit, compliance, and regulatory data requirements
• Hands‑on experience with metadata platforms such as Purview, Collibra, Alation, Informatica EDC, Atlan, DataHub, or similar
• Working knowledge of Python or scripting for automation and validation
