MEP Estimation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and detailed MEP cost estimates by analyzing project specifications, drawings, and scope of work.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather requirements and clarify technical specifications for MEP systems.
• Prepare and maintain a comprehensive database of labor rates, material costs, and equipment pricing to enhance estimation accuracy.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and understand project conditions that might affect MEP systems and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MEP estimation within the construction industry, highlighting relevant project types.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or similar are highly regarded.
