What You’ll Do (Position Description)

TheMental Health Technicianprovides direct patient care under the supervision of a Nurse Manager and Registered Charge Nurse.Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention and activities of daily living.MHT’s will conduct regular safety checks on patients, assist in facilitatingpatient groups, assist nurses in the admission and discharge process, and support patient groups or one-on-one.Successful candidates must demonstrateleadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment, flexibility for reassignment to various units/populations including children, adolescents, adults, older a...
