Summary About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This will be filled as a permanent position. Responsibilities Maintain applicant's medical records during the examination process. Manage medical consultations to include verifying doctor's orders. Ensure safety requirements are met for the proper use, storage, and disposal of needles and medical equipment. Perform phlebotomy procedures to obtain blood samples. Review unique medical forms for proper format, coding and completion. Monitor and maintain stock level of medical supplies and restock as necessary. In-process applicants, verify identity using previously captured biometrics (digital fingerprints and photographs). Prepare packages and ship specimens to testing laboratory.
