Medical Physics Apprentice -- Radiotherapy Physics

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Medical Physics team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust as an apprentice, combining paid employment with university study towards a BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science.

This apprenticeship offers hands‑on experience within a busy NHS department while studying through University of the West of England.

Working under supervision, you will support the delivery of Radiotherapy Physics services, contributing to quality assurance testing, equipment performance checks, treatment‑related processes and the safe use of radiotherapy technology. You'll gain practical experience alongside experienced healthcare scientists while developing the technical knowledge and professional skills required for a career in Medical Physics.
