Medical Office Assistant (Part-time) (North Vancouver)

Job Overview

We are seeking a part time Medical Office Assistant to join our plastic surgery specialty clinic in North Vancouver. This is in person position and will help run specialty clinic for patients in the office. There will be opportunity to partner with experienced MOA at the start.

Responsibilities

• Front reception
• Greeting patients
• Answering telephone
• Patient intake forms, scanning documents into patient charts
• Processing new referrals, creating patient charts, providing appointments
• Patient scheduling
• Exam room prep, bringing patients into exam rooms
• Cleaning of exam rooms
• Instrument cleaning and reprocessing

Qualifications and Experience

• Some prior experience working as a medical office assistant is an asset.
• Experience and training in EMR (Arya) is an asset, but not required.
