Job Summary

The Medical Laboratory Technician supports the daily operations of the Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics Laboratory by performing laboratory testing, maintaining quality standards, ensuring compliance with laboratory procedures, and contributing to patient care through accurate and timely diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Cytogenetic and Molecular Genetics testing, including karyotyping, PCR, CGH, karyomapping, DNA extraction, and related laboratory techniques.
• Ensure all laboratory activities are performed in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in the day‑to‑day operations of the Genetics Laboratory and support the Laboratory Manager as required.
• Coordinate laboratory activities with IVF and clinical teams.
