Medical Coder Trainer

Qualifications

Must hold at least one active certification:

CPC

CPC-I

COC

CCS

CCS-P

Additional certifications are an advantage but not required



Minimum of 3 years of hands-on coding experience in:

Professional Fee (ProFee) Coding, and/or

Outpatient Facility Coding



Proven experience conducting:

Coding training sessions

Workshops

New hire onboarding programs

Knowledge transfer sessions



Key Responsibilities

Deliver coding training programs to new and existing employees

Facilitate onboarding and continuous learning initiatives

Develop and update training materials and coding resources

Assess trainee performance and provide coaching and feedback

Ensure coding quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards
