Medical Assistant Team Lead-OB/GYN

**Job Description**

The Medical Assistant Team Lead is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care obtaining vital statistics as well as providing clerical and organizational tasks such as appointment scheduling and chart management. Functions in a lead capacity with oversight and mentoring of less experienced Medical Assistants.

**Qualifications**

+ High School Diploma/GED with completion of Training Certificate from an approved Medical Assistant certificate course. Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
+ Completion of a certificate Medical Assistant program from an approved school or three years of equivalent experience as a medical assistant. Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
+ 3 years minimum as a Medical certification as a Medical Assistant from an approved school or two additional years of experience as a medical assistant office Assistant.
