A fast-paced Medical Center in Rockland County is looking to hire a part-time or full-time Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate enjoys working with patients, has an upbeat personality, positive attitude, exceptional commitment to customer service, and is a good multi-tasker.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Greet patients and escort them to treatment rooms in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner
+ Verify patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit
+ Perform vitals: blood pressure, weight, temperature, and pulse and record in patient chart
+ Secure patient information and maintain confidentiality by safeguarding medical records and accurately completing diagnostic and procedural coding
+ Upkeep of inventory and cleanliness of the exam rooms
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Previous medical assistant experience required
+ Strong computer skills and fluency in EMR systems
