Job Summary Assists physicians and advanced practice practitioners with patient care and maintains clinical areas.
Responsibilities and Duties Assists medical practitioners with patient care.
Performs pre-visit planning.
Obtains vital signs.
Performs standing orders.
Reviews medical histories with patients.
Prepares patients for examinations and assists practitioner with examinations and procedures.
Collects and processes lab specimens.
Administers medications and immunizations.
Performs vision and hearing tests, ear irrigation, electrocardiograms, spirometry, wound care, splinting, nebulized therapies, and other clinical orders.
