We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. This role focuses on providing vital clinical support, ensuring efficient patient flow, and delivering high-quality patient care. With a preference for candidates with three years of consistent experience, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic cardiology environment.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure efficient patient flow and prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient examinations.
+ Conduct initial intake of patients by interviewing them and their families to obtain the chief complaint, vital signs, and allergy information.
+ Perform and record daily Quality Controls (QC) for all Point of Care (POC) testing and obtain specimens.
+ Under provider or RN direction, track and retrieve patient lab/diagnostic testing results for timely review and follow-up.
+ Assist in the administrative functions of the patient prescription renewal process....
