Medical Assistant

**Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Medical Assistant in Gardena, CA!** This role is **in person / onsite** . Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

**Type:** Four-month contract, with opportunity for extension or full-time offer
**Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
**Pay:** $20.00 to $24.00 per hour

**Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:**

**Patient Intake & Clinical Support:**

· Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms using ACE standard work.

· Record vital signs and document patient history in the electronic medical record.

· Prepare patients for examinations and assist clinicians during visits.

· Administer injections as directed.

· Perform point-of-care testing (POCT) and EKGs.
