Orthopedics – Post-Surgical Unit

Shift: 12-hour nights - Weekend requirement: Every other weekend required

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week options

Requirements:

• Minimum: 2 years clinical experience in Orthopedics
• Required certifications: BCLS (BLS), NIH (NIHSS)
• Preferred certifications: ACLS
• Must have EPIC experience for first-time travelers
• Pain management skills (PCA, multimodal analgesia)
• Telemetry skills and dysrhythmia recognition
• Familiarity with surgical drains and peripheral nerve block catheters is preferred

• Provide comprehensive care to orthopedic and spine post-operative patients.
