Mechatronics Engineer - BID Controls & Diagnostics

Big Science Sweden is seeking a motivated mechatronics engineer in Geneva, Switzerland, to contribute to the North Area Consolidation (NA-CONS) program. The role involves enhancing Beam Intercepting Devices (BIDs) controls to improve reliability and support upgrade activities during Long Shutdown 3.

Candidates must have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience and a university degree (Bachelor's or Master's), with no previous CERN fellow or graduate contract. This position focuses on the design and integration of control systems and contributes to diagnostics and software tools.
